I started my career in marketing at Cancer Research UK. And it was there I first realised the power of behaviour change - learning about the links between lifestyle and cancer, and the complicated pattern of influences on our choices. Since then I've worked in the other charities and the NHS developing interventions to tackle issues including childhood obesity, smoking, and the use of health services. I've also led on campaigns to change people's attitudes and behaviour around mental health for Time To Change, England's campaign to end mental health discrimination. Away from campaigns, I'm a mum of four, and love beaches, hills and running.
